I have proposed several approaches to address Sun City Anthem’s current deficiencies in equitably resolving complaints and disputes, including modifying the Covenants Committee charter to expand the issues under its jurisdiction and creating a new Dispute Resolution (Mediation) Committee.
Implementing these proposed changes would go a long way to preventing unresolved complaints from festering and forcing litigation. Studies have shown that effective internal complaint processes and alternate dispute resolution procedures have a high return on investment by reducing attorneys’ fees and court costs.
